Stantec has been recognized as one of Canada's top employers for young people by Canada's Top 100 Employers competition.
The distinction is given to employers that are leaders in attracting and retaining younger employees to their organizations. Stantec was recently recognized by Northern Ontario Business as one of five top employers in Northern Ontario.
“Being named one of Canada's top employers for young people is a fantastic achievement,” said Paul Allen, senior vice-president of Stantec in Canada East, in a press release. “Our people are our most important competitive resource and this recognition shows that we are providing our young employees with the tools and opportunities they need to build long, successful careers with Stantec.”
Stantec was recognized for its mentorship program, formal leadership training, health benefits, flexible work hours and career-planning services, including an online career development centre to help employees identify, plan for, and achieve their professional goals.
The company was earlier named one of Canada's Greenest Employees by Canada's Top 100 Employers, and one of the 10 best companies to work for by the Financial Post.
