The best in Sault Ste. Marie's knowledge economy will be recognized at an upcoming awards ceremony.
The Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre stages their fifth annual SMARt (Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma Region) Innovation Awards June 17 at the Grand Theatre.
The event honours companies and influential individuals for their innovation use and contributions to science, research and technology.
Awards will go an innovative company, leader, student, youth, project, website, researcher and educator.
"Every year we're proud of all of our nominees and winners and the great work they're doing in our local science and technology sectors," said Tom Vair, executive director of the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre.
