The Canadian Institute of Forestry gave silver rings to graduates of the Forestry Technology program at College Boreal during a special ceremony held on Feb. 24.
Marc Nellis, member of the Central Ontario Section of the Canadian Institute of Forestry and Marc Hebert, board member of the Central Ontario Section presented the rings to the graduates.
Both are also professors at the college.
“The professor and myself are proud that our Forestry Technologists receive a silver ring recognising their academic training,” said Denis Hubert-Dutrisac, president of College Boreal in a press release. “This event is the result of the exceptional work of members of our faculty.”
