Terry Bos, CEO of the Sault Ste. Marie Airport, has been re-elected as president of the board of directors for the Airport Management Council of Ontario (AMCO).

Bos was re-elected during AMCO's 26th annual general meeting, during which members decided to maintain the current board of directors, which has been in place for the last year.

Other northern representatives on the council include Darlene Leupen, from Greenstone Airports, who was re-elected as treasurer; Robert Tyrer, of the Greater Sudbury Municipal Airport, who was re-elected as northeastern regional director; and Bill Hochstedler, of the Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport, who was re-elected as northwestern regional director.

Rounding out the council are past president Mike Karsseboom, from the Toronto Pearson International Airport; vice-president Stephen Wilcox, from the Oshawa Municipal Airport; southeastern regional director Nancy Hewitt, from the Peterborough Municipal Airport; and southwestern regional director Vernon Dowlath, from the Downsview Airport.

The AMCO was incorporated in 1985 and has 50 member airports from across Ontario. The council advocates for the sustainability of airports, both provincially and nationally.
