The Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre has joined the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN), a partnership the centre expects will bring it and its clients domestic and international market exposure.
Membership with the network aligns with the innovation centre’s mandate to grow business in the science and technology sectors. The centre is now part of an alliance of 12 media networks across Canada.
“We look forward to joining the CDMN
to improve the service offering to our clients and take part in this
growing, national network,” said Tom Vair, the innovation centre’s
executive director. “We see the CDMN programs having direct benefit
to companies in our region and believe strongly in advancing the
digital media sector to build prosperity.”
The innovation centre
is now accepting applications to the Soft-Landing Program, which
qualifies small- to medium-sized enterprises for up to $4,000 to put
towards travel and accommodation expenses incurred during a stay at a
business accelerator.
