Porter adds a third flight to Sault

“Fantastic” support from the Sault faithful has spurred Porter Airlines to add a third roundtrip flight between Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto.

The extra flight begins June 27 and will be offered year-round, Sunday through Friday.

The move comes only two weeks after Porter began its inaugural flights to the city.

In a May 17 news release, Porter said the city is already performing as one of the air carrier's best start-up destinations.

"Support from the community of Sault Ste. Marie has been fantastic," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. "We're in a position to take advantage of this early success and improve the service right away."
