Jeff Elgie, CEO and partner at Lucidia, a Sault Ste. Marie-based marketing firm, has announced he is leaving the company.
In a letter to clients, Elgie said he made the decision during a recent three-month sabbatical.
“Running Lucidia for the past 12 years has been an extraordinary and rewarding experience, but it is time for me to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit once again,” he wrote.
J.R. Pierman, Lucidia president and Elgie’s business partner, will take over the helm of the company, continuing as its president and sole shareholder.
In its dozen years, Lucidia has become the largest integrated marketing communications agency in Northern Ontario.
Last fall it won a new contract with Fairmont hotels, overseeing the hotel chain’s email program, its customer relationship management and its direct marketing communications for four of its brands.
