Northern College rolls out fifth diamond drill assistant program

A renewed demand for exploration services has prompted Northern College to offer its surface diamond driller assistant common core program for the fifth time.

 
A renewed demand for exploration services has prompted Northern College to offer its surface diamond driller assistant common core program for the fifth time.

The program will run from April 26 to June 30, 2010 at the school's Kirkland Lake campus, with 12 available seats.

It is based on the modularized common core training standards and guidelines as laid out by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, and the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association.

It is presented in partnership with such firms as Cabo Drilling, Bradley Bros., Boart Longyear, and Forage Orbit Garand Drilling, among others.
