A government-funded business incubator is stepping up inside North Bay's Northgate Square shopping centre.
Stepping Stones is an office space being set up to lure home-based entrepreneurs into more professionally-looking digs. Starting at $50 per month, the incubator offers office space, 'hot desks,' mentorship programs, business plan consultation, workshops, meeting space and Lunch & Learns.
The incubator, located on the second floor of Northgate Square, is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Project manager Jenn Galan is accepting applications for people "serious" about growing their business. Priority will be given to those who meet the incubator's qualifications.
