The Bell Evening of Excellence Awards, an event put on by the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce and the sponsors of the annual Small Business Week, honoured 29 nominees and named 10 winners.

Employment Services; Innovation Award – Cementation for the Chilean Mine Rescue; Young Professional of the Year – Kiera Hardie of Opera Café; Business Student of the Year – Leanne Tammi; Employee of the Year – Crystal Thompson, Hampton Inn; Success Story – Stix & Stones; Small Business of the Year – Cintra May’s and Business of the Year (16+) – Evans Bertrand Hill Wheeler Architecture Inc.
