Bay Builders have received a 2009 'Builder of the Year' award from a major Canadian modular home manufacturer.
The North Bay firm recently accepted the award at Guildcrest Home's Annual Builder Conference in Montebelo, Que. Each year, Guildcrest recognizes its highest volume producers at a gala awards ceremony.
"This award is very important to me," said Nicole Neff, the president of Bay Builders in a May 17 press release. "(Last year) our industry with some significant challenges so, to have not only survived, but even thrived, makes this moment of recognition all the more special."
David Poupore, president of Guildcrest said with more than 35 builders in their network, Nicole and her Bay Builders team have "earned the admiration and respect her peer, her customers and all of us at Guildcrest."
The modular homes are factory-built in large sections and shipped by transport truck to the site and are set on a foundation with a crane.
Guildcrest Homes is a Morewood, Ont. Manufacturer located near Ottawa. They build 200 homes annually and deliver them across Ontario and western Quebec.
