Magma Metals announced a formal agreement to share information with three First Nation communities near its Thunder Bay North nickel-copper project in northwestern Ontario.
The Australian miner signed a Communications Protocol with the Fort William First Nation, Red Rock Indian Band and Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek.
The agreement, announced Nov. 29, established a framework for project updates and ensures an opportunity for the communities to participate in the advancement of the project.
The Thunder Bay North project is 50 kilometres northeast of the city of Thunder Bay.
