Quadra FNX Mining said it has signed a new three-year collective labour agreement with United Steel Workers Local 2020 for its Sudbury mining operations.

Quadra FNX Mining said it has signed a new three-year collective labour agreement with United Steel Workers Local 2020 for its Sudbury mining operations.

In a June 28 release, the deal includes competitive wage and benefit increases through June 30, 2014. The bonus structure continues to be competitive and based on performance metrics aligned to maximize profitability and shareholder returns.

In a statement, company president Paul Blythe said the new agreement allows the ongoing ramp up of its Morrison deposit and “continuing value-enhancing initiatives” at the McCreedy West and Podolsky Mines.”
