New CEO for Dumas

Daniel Dumas is stepping down as CEO of Dumas Contracting Ltd. which is based in Timmins. He will be replaced by Burger Greeff, who brings more than 18 years of management experience in mining and contract mining.

Daniel Dumas is stepping down as CEO of Dumas Contracting Ltd. which is based in Timmins. He will be replaced by Burger Greeff, who brings more than 18 years of management experience in mining and contract mining.

Dumas has occupied the role since 1994 when he founded the company. He will remain actively involved with Dumas Contracting, principally focused on developing new business and further expanding its operations and service offerings. Dumas will also remain a director and major shareholder of the company.

Greeff joins Dumas from De Beers where he has held a number of senior management roles, most recently as CEO of De Beers Marine, the in-house mining contractor for De Beers marine mining operations.

Dumas is a leading full-service underground mining contractor providing services for clients throughout Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America and West Africa. It specializes in mine construction, mine development, production mining, mine services and engineering.
