Sault College is receiving $1.5 million from the province for the construction of its new academic wing.
Sault Ste. Marie MPP David Orazietti made the announcement, May 21.
The college is expanding its learning space to help increase student enrolment to 2,500. The money is coming through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund's Infrastructure and Community Development Program.
The new academic wing will create 18 jobs.
