Manitoulin Island young entrepreneurs see provincial dollars

Six young entrepreneurs located on the Manitoulin Island are seeing provincial support for their burgeoning businesses.

 
Six young entrepreneurs located on the Manitoulin Island are seeing provincial support for their burgeoning businesses.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation has provided $25,000 to each of the following enterprises:

-The Country Inn B&B, a five-room bed and breakfast owned by Natalie Duck which also provides spa, hairdressing and aesthetic services.

-Joshua Manitowabi of Wikwemikong, for a timber cutting and skidding business.

-Joyce Family Farm, a market gardening business started by Catherine Senior and Ross Joyce in Providence Bay that will supply the farmer's market and local stores.

-Renew All, a soda blasting cleaning and paint removal service operated by Brian Elliott in Little Current.

-Ryan's Clothing Garage, a clothing store for men and children, operated in Mindemoya by Andrew McGauley.
