Levert Personnel Resources has expanded into the oil and gas sector in Atlantic Canada, following the acquisition of a pair of Newfoundland-based personnel management companies.
Levert has acquired Whelan Petroleum Personnel Management, which provides human resource management and logistics support to the offshore and marine industry in Atlantic Canada, and Newfoundland Personnel, which provides administrative staffing services, along with specialty services such as employee testing.
Richard Levert, president of Levert Personnel Resources Inc., said in a news release the two new companies bring a wealth of local experience that will allow the company to enhance the services it provides.

Headquartered in Sudbury, Levert has additional offices in Timmins and North Bay.
