Mark Busgang has resigned as president and CEO of Warnex Inc., a life sciences company with a lab in Thunder Bay.
His responsibilities will be assumed by a newly created executive committee of the board of directors from the Laval, Quebec-based company.
Busgang will stay on as a consultant for a year to help with the transition. The company is undergoing a strategic review of its assets that include two labs in Quebec.
In 2009, Warnex acquired Molecular World, a forensic testing lab in Thunder Bay that specializes in DNA identification tests for paternity, maternity and other family relationships.
