Three organizations are combining forces in late June to talk about safer environmental practices and land reclamation in mining.
“Reclaiming the Future of Mining” will be a combined presentation of the 5th Mining and Environment International Conference, the 36th Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) National Conference and the 4th CLRA/OMA (Ontario Mining Association) Ontario Mine Reclamation Symposium. It will take place in Sudbury at Laurentian University from June 25 - 30, 2011.
Sponsored by Laurentian University, the CLRA, CLRA Ontario Chapter and the Ontario Mining Association Environment Committee, the conference will include technical sessions, field tours, workshops, social events and a trade show.
There is a call for oral and poster presentations. Prospective authors are invited to submit titles and abstracts by Feb. 28. Final submission is required by May 1, 2011.
