Grid Cloud Solutions Inc. of Sault Ste. Marie has been chosen as the sole sales and marketing agent for a patented, energy-efficient building system.
Grid Cloud, a design, development and management firm in the biomass, solar thermal and wind energy industry, and the yet-unnamed manufacturer participated in a five-week trial between July 8 and August 19. The patented system is to be deployed globally.
“This initiative marks a significant business line for the company, as there is a growing demand for energy-conserving building systems,” Grid Cloud CEO Danny Wong said in a news release. “Builders and building owners are under pressure by lenders who give favourable rates to buildings that conserve energy.”
The release indicated an announcement regarding the final sales and marketing contract will be presented in a few weeks.
