Goldcorp Canada is looking to spend up to $200 million over the next four years to extend the depth of its Hoyle Pond underground mine in the Timmins camp.

A shaft to be built from within the mine, called a winze, will begin at the 400-metre level and extended to the 2,200 level to access new gold zones.

Previous exploration drilling at the site showed improving gold grades and the extension of several gold structures at depth.
