Thunder Bay's Fladgate Exploration Consulting is getting $27,500 from FedNor to hire a youth intern to support the firm's plans to expand into international markets.
In an Aug. 30 release, FedNor says the funding enables Fladgate to “enhance its productivity and competitiveness” in developing customized software and data management systems. The youth intern will help with the project.
Caitlin Jeffs, vice-president of Fladgate, says the money helps the company take the next step in better serving their staff and international clients. “If this project leads to new products and services, we hope to expand our workforce, creating more jobs here in Northern Ontario.”
