The Ontario Professional Foresters Association will hold its annual conference and general meeting in Timmins April 13 to 15.
Guest speakers include Avrim Lazar, president and CEO of the Forest Products Association of Canada and Minister of Natural Resources Linda Jeffrey. The focus is on the changing face of forest management and past, current and future practices will be explored. Topics such as parks, caribou, enhanced sustainable forest licenses and private land will be covered.
The conference is open to the public and will be held at the Days Inn.
