The Export Marketing Assistance Program, which was launched in April, is showing positive results, with 18 companies being approved for financial assistance with export marketing initiatives.
The program, which is run in conjunction with Ontario's North Economic Development Corporation and the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry, provides eligible Northern Ontario mining supply and services companies with up to $10,000 to be used towards marketing their products for export.
The funding can be applied to areas including marketing and sales activities related to trade missions, booth rental costs, translation services, and the development of display panels, pavilions and information booths.
