EarthCare Sudbury unveiled its 2010 Action Plan, a specific set of guidelines for environmental action, at the organization's annual general meeting held at Sudbury's Howard Johnson Feb. 18.
The new document represents an update from a previous action plan released in 2003, with recommendations specifically geared towards monitoring and measuring progress, as provided by EarthCare partners.
The plan includes a laundry list of actions for a variety of sectors, from energy to air quality to green construction.
There are more than 100 community partners for EarthCare Sudbury, spanning from post-secondary and research institutions to media as well as public and private sector firms.
