The Dryden Development Corporation collected $49,375 to do a number of projects including a tourism asset inventory of area museums and galleries to identify new opportunities. The community is also establishing a district heating plan, identifying housing needs for prospective businesses, hosting incoming investors and creating a coalition of local food providers as a way to promote local foods.

In Marathon, the development corporation received $10,000 to create an online land inventory database. The corporation is undertaking an inventory of industrial and commercial lands and buildings available in town.

All the money comes out of the NOHFC's Northern Communities Investment Readiness program.
