Northern Credit Union will celebrate the opening of a new branch in Thunder Bay with two days of festivities.
President and CEO Al Suraci said the new Arthur Street branch offers all the conveniences of modern banking for their growing base of customers.
The new building replaces the Frederica Street branch and will have extended hours and drive-through service.
The ribbon-cutting and speeches are slated for June 28 followed by a member block party the next day. Proceeds from the event will go toward Special Olympics Ontario.
“We have always been committed to supporting the communities in which we operate, and the ability to celebrate our grand opening with a local fundraiser is particularly meaningful to us,” said Suraci.
