The fledgling Ontario College of Trades is searching for a registrar.
The board of directors are searching for applicants with experience from the province's four trade sectors: construction (mining), industrial, motive power and service
The registrar will be responsible for modernizing the apprenticeship and skilled trades system.
Established in 2009 by the Ontario government, the college becomes operational in 2012 and expects to serve more than 500,000 members working in more than 150 trades across Ontario.
The college would act as professional regulatory body and promoters of skilled trades in Ontario.
