Seven new businesses in Thunder Bay received support from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation.
Through the Young Entrepreneur Program: Storm Carroll Photography received $19,023 for new equipment and marketing and created one job; Northern Exterior Waterproofing received $25,000 for new equipment and created one job; Thunder Bay Gifts received $18,600 for renovations and advertising and created two jobs; Beethoven's Piano Legs received $25,000 for equipment and software and created one job.
Three ventures received support through the Northern Ontario Entrepreneur Program: Bonobo's Food received $36,700 for renovations and equipment and created three jobs; Retro Bakery and Diner received $27,602 for equipment, renovations and advertising, which created three jobs. Imagine Films received $16,688 for studio renovations and new equipment and one job was created.
