Magma Metals has appointed David Constable as a non-executive director of the company, effective Dec. 1.
Well-known in Sudbury as a past vice-president of investor relations for the former FNX Mining (now Quadra FNX), Constable has 40 years’ experience in the North American and international mining and exploration sectors.
Constable is also a director for U308 Corp., Woulfe Mining Corp., Rockcliff Resources Inc. and Acme Resources Corp.
In a Nov. 26 statement, Magma executive chairman Keith Watkins said, “This appointment further strengthens Magma's board and David's experience and expertise in the North American markets will be particularly important as we advance our Thunder Bay North project in Ontario and consider the next stage of the company's development.”
The Australian junior miner is drilling multiple zones at a highly prospective platinum, palladium, copper and nickel project, 45 kilometres north of Thunder Bay.
