FedNor continues to shell out funds this week for renovations to community halls and hockey rinks through its Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund.

On Jan. 23, the Town of Iroquois Falls was the recipient of $98,500 to replace roofing at the Jus Jordan Arena and Iroquois Falls Sports Complex, which accommodates a variety of hockey and skating clubs, including the Abitibi Eskimos.

The Township of Terrace Bay received $27,500 to install an air conditioning system in Michael King Hall, a multi-use facility and main gathering place for large community events.

“Michael King Hall accommodates a variety of cultural and social activities for residents of all ages,” said Terrace Bay Mayor Michael King.
