Aquatech Dewatering plans to open branches in Timmins and Thunder Bay in the spring of 2013, which will complement its existing Sudbury location.

“We are pleased to expand our presence in Northern Ontario,” Aquatech president Andy Ingriselli said in a news release. “The new branches will complement our existing Sudbury branch and provide additional local support for the growing demand of our dewatering and pumping services in the region.”

The new branches will stock an assortment of pumps, accessories and discharge filtration equipment for underground and open-pit mine dewatering, construction dewatering, temporary bypass pumping, temporary fire pumps, dredging, and tailings and slurry product transfer applications. The branches will also be fully equipped to offer high-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) fusion and well-drilling services.

The expansion will provide immediate equipment rental and sales, full-service support and emergency response capability to the mining, construction, industrial and municipal sectors.
