Temagami Forest Products Ltd. recently received conditional approval from the Ministry of Natural Resources to build a white birch sawmill in Temagami. The company's plans are to build a mill and a fuel-wood processing plant, which could eventually employ 60 people. A company spokesperson says pending final approval, construction on the new mill should begin in the spring, with a fall production start.
