Sudbury’s Stack Brewing is hosting the Northern Ontario Microbrew Festival at the Grand Nightclub, Feb. 21.
The full-day day event will showcase craft beer from Outspoken Brewing from Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay’s Sleeping Giant Brew Company, Lake of the Woods Brewing from Kenora, Highlander Brewing Company from South River and from host Stack Brewing. Added to the list are Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company from Vankleek Hill and Sawdust City Brewing Company of Gravenhurst.
Rheault Distillery from Hearst will also be presenting their whiskey and vodka products.
Organizers say the highlights of the festival will be the education sessions taking place throughout the day where home brewers and curious beer drinkers can ask attending brewers and distillers about their processes, tricks of the trade, and brewing styles.
