Falconbridge wants the City of Timmins to drop its appeal of the company's property taxes with no strings attached.

Falconbridge wants the City of Timmins to drop its appeal of the company's property taxes with no strings attached.

The city agreed to withdraw its appeal of the provincial property assessment on condition the nickel producer does not follow through on any civil litigation or claim for damages. But the company is refusing to accept the terms, and plans to pursue the matter through its lawyers.
