We also forward any relevant leads directly,” says Marla Tremblay, Executive Director of MineConnect. The Find-a-Supplier portal is an interactive listing of all member businesses which helps interested clients find exactly who and what they are looking for.

Member businesses who take full advantage of tradeshows with their own branded booths can look to MineConnect for advice. Creating a memorable first impressions is key to generating lucrative leads.
Marla offers some good advice for businesses new to trade shows. “Go with a plan, especially if it’s your first time at a given event. It can be overwhelming. At a minimum, do some research in advance and make a list of your prospects and where they will be. Always have a plan for collecting leads and for follow-ups post show,” she advises.
An important mining industry tradeshow, MINExpo International, will be held in Las Vegas from September 13 to 15. Any members attending are encouraged to notify MineConnect so they can be included in additional activities while there.
