J.P. Brunet of Timmins understands the concept hard work pays off.

J.P. Brunet
As a student completing his business diploma at Northern College, Brunet started J.P.E.P Enterprises after realizing a business opportunity to work as an independent sales and installation person for VARS Investment Group.

Brunet started J.P.E.P Enterprises in August 2003. VARS Investment Group offered the opportunity for him to startup a sole proprietorship installing and maintaining debit machines, and point of sale machines.

Brunet's product knowledge of the VARS processes has landed him new roots in Sudbury where he expects to expand his business opportunities.

Today, he has clients spanning across the North.
Brunet says VARS has a different concept from the traditional debit machine services. Instead of paying a monthly fee for a portable, stationary or cellular debit machine, VARS offers a one-time up-front cost of for installation and processing, and a 50-cent user fee to the customer.

Of that, 20 cents would be taken out for processing fees and the remaining difference would be split between the business owner and VARS.

He also offers long-distance phone cards, and will soon offer Smart Cards.
