A successful Timmins businessman has been selected as the independent chair of the joint operational review of the Sudbury Regional Hospital.
The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and the hospital announced Jean-Paul Aube will steer the operational-review steering committee. The group role will be to improve the hospital's governance, operations and planning, and also to draft a recovery plan for the cash-strapped hospital construction project. Aube has had previous experience in the health-care field, sitting on boards and health councils across northeastern Ontario.
