Joe Torlone beat out more than 40 applicants in being selected as the new chief administrative officer for the City of Timmins. The 21-year city employee succeeds Grant Chevrette who is retiring. Torlone has served stints as interim CAO and worked in various departments including the Timmins Economic Development Corp., planning and building, parks and recreation, social services and homes for the aged.
