Kapuskasing's Tembec-Spruce Falls mill is developing and implementing a new quality assurance system. The system will assure its customers of manufacturing and developing a consistently defect-free product. The program will be overseen by David Culverhouse, the former manager of customer service. Company officials say the program's intent is to consistently produce product to their customer's required specifications, and this project will develop a process to allow Tembec to do that.
