Travellers landing at the Thunder Bay Airport now have more options for a ride.

The airport authority announced on Nov. 13 that Diamond and Roach’s Yellow Taxi will now collaborate to improve cab service.

Both cab companies will have their designated spot on the curb, allowing passengers more options than ever before.

“We appreciate the efforts of all three companies to improve car-for-hire services at the airport to reduce wait times for our mutual customers,” said airport president-CEO Ed Schmidtke in a statement.

Earlier this year, the Airport Authority also licensed local rideshare company URIDE, which has helped alleviate long wait times during peak hours at the airport.
