Students benefit from northwestern in-school business program (10/02)

One thousand students from grades 5 to12 will benefit from northwestern Ontario’s Junior Achievement (JA) program over the next nine months. The interactive in-school program strives to inspire students to develop entrepreneurial skills.

One thousand students from grades 5 to12 will benefit from northwestern Ontario’s Junior Achievement (JA) program over the next nine months. The interactive in-school program strives to inspire students to develop entrepreneurial skills. The program introduces Grade 5 and 6 students to business basics. JA volunteers are business people in the community who visit local classrooms and deliver the program with help from teachers. The programs are offered at no cost to the school.
