Murray Walberg has been appointed to the Thunder Bay Port Authority board for a three-year term.
"The Thunder Bay Port Authority will greatly benefit both from his experience in the financial services industry, and his community involvement,” said federal transport minister Denis Lebel in a statement.
Walberg has been the Northwestern Ontario regional vice president of RBC Royal Bank since 2005. He's also active in the community and serves on the boards of many local organizations and charities including Ambassadors Northwest Ontario Business Council, Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre, United Way, and Lakehead University's board of governors.
