Lakehead University is prepared to accept more than its share of students after news reports suggested 7,000 Ontario high school graduates might not find a spot in university next year.

Lakehead University is prepared to accept more than its share of students after news reports suggested 7,000 Ontario high school graduates might not find a spot in university next year. The president of Lakehead University says the school can take up to 500 more students. The Advanced Technology

and Academic Centre, which is under construction and slated to open next year, will create 1,400 student spaces. Enrollment this year at Lakehead is 6,550, up from 6,150 last year.
