Thunder Bay’s fsc limited has partnered with DTE Energy, an Ann Arbor, Mich. Company, to assist in providing software to two energy companies with the hopes it will lead to future business developments.

fsc limited sold software to two undisclosed power plants that have now been off loaded.

“There are a number of companies that are having problems because five years ago they started building up all these power plants and now there is an oversupply of power,” George Fleming Jr. of fsc limited says.

This is where DTE Energy comes in. They know how to build and run the energy stations. Recently DTE Energy participated in a bidding process to manage the two plants that fsc sold software to, and the company was awarded the contract. Now “fsc limited will provide network support, as well as operations support to these plants that are now using our software,” Fleming Jr. says.

Should this partnership prove to be successful, Fleming Jr. says there are numerous other possible partnerships to be explored in the United States.
