The Thessalon First Nation Economic Development Corp. is developing a bio centre that will accommodate foods-processing business and is expected to become a major employer in the First Nation community and area. It is anticipated the centre will create economic development opportunities and employment in the support, service and transportation sectors.
FedNor recently contributed $473,886 to the economic development corporation.
