Kenora-Rainy River MP Robert Nault is suggesting communities get together as a region to access federal funding for economic development and health. Nault says there is more than $2 billion in the budget for infrastructure programs that have not yet been defined.

Nault told a Dryden audience of business leaders, aboriginal leaders and government departmental heads that not much can be accomplished when a single community does not have the money, resources or synergies to diversify its economy.
