A biomass waste disposal project is one step closer to becoming a reality for Emo. A funding application has been sent to FedNor for consideration. The funding application is for a complete engineering operational analysis, which involves a site evaluation, test drilling, geophysical site projections, a full-scale environmental-impact assessment, site-sizing projections, cost summaries on construction, and operation facets. If FedNor funding is approved, the operational analysis could last 18 to 24 months.
