Sudbury is hosting a one-day expo featuring all things ‘green’ on Oct. 30.

Sudbury 2018 Green Expo will feature expert panellists, peer discussions, technical demonstrations and a tradeshow.

The event is being presented by reThink Green and Green Economy North on Oct. 30 at the Holiday Inn. 

Keynote speakers will include:

  • Toronto architect Drew Adams, who will speak about Evergreen Brick Works’ carbon-neutral retrofit of the Historic Kiln Building;
  • Ottawa’s Mike Carson, a member of the Carbon613 Enviro Centre and chief financial officer of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, who will share the board’s experience with improving their environmental performance; and
  • Alex Benzie, senior lead of central services for QUEST (Quality Urban Energy Systems of Tomorrow), who will discuss the advancement of Smart Energy Communities.
