The Honourable Brian Tobin will present from a political and national perspective what Canada has done, and what the country needs to do, in order to prepare itself to take full advantage of the knowledge-based economy during e-Sudbury.com's second luncheon in their Communities of Change luncheon series.

Tobin has served at the most senior levels of both provincial and federal politics. As past minister of industry, Tobin worked with all sectors of the economy and with all Canadians to improve Canada's innovation performance, to make Canada the most connected nation in the world and to advance Canada’s competitiveness in the new knowledge-based economy. Tobin has extensive knowledge of key trends in politics and international competitiveness.

The luncheon is entitled 'Brian Tobin - Digital Opportunity for All - The Canadian Vision' and takes place on May 10, 2002 at 11:45 a.m. at the Ramada Inn in the City of Greater Sudbury.
